I've listened to it and it just gets really annoying after a while. All the rappers do is talk about either shooting someone, having sex, or dealing drugs. What I hate most is that rap lovers play the music so loud in their cars, that other motorists have to put up with that crap. It takes no talent to rap.

Depends on one's tastes. Biggie is the undisputed king of gangsta rap. Nas is the master of philosophical rapping. Eminem's early work (his later stuff was commercial tripe) has to be rated for his off the wall rhymes - insanity rap at it's best. Overall I'd go with Nasir Jones for consistant quality.

Yeah, you say that i need to open my mind and listen but what your ignorant self doesnt stop to think is that i used to listen to rap, R&B, and hip hop, and what i realized was that there were very few songs and artists that had anything real to say. And i didnt feel like hearing songs that used the word Nig*a every other word. You need to open your eyes and see that rap is a medium for some of these artists to be derogatory and offensive, and use the very word that put down (even still to this day) a race. Thats what you need to learn before you start Preaching your gospel.

Firstly all those who dislike rap music, you are all entitled to your opinion... But saying all rappers talk about killing, shooting, bitches, bling and cars is bollocks...

Thats like saying, all rock music is some white dude shouting and screaming... Rap has substance but is overshadowed by da hype and all da above stuff i mentioned.

But the most consistant in the commercial field as of weight now is Lil Wayne, Ludacris, JayZ and etc. It depends on the song, and crowd who is listening as well.
