If your friend can accept him then the rest of you should do the same.

Just try to get along with him. What do you mean by "too deep, too intensive"? Why does that mean he's not like your friends? Is your friend group shallow? I don't mean that in a horrible way, I'm just trying to understand what you exactly mean.
In general terms, you should try to get on with him as best you can for your friend's sake. As long as he's generally a nice person and not a criminal or anything then I think you're just going to have to try to get along.

Is his deep intensiveness actually ruining your outings, or is it just a facet of him that you don't like and therefore don't understand why she's with him?
Perhaps it's time for a girls' night out where you don't all have your partners around. I think you'll appreciate your friends for who they are rather than who their lovers are.

he must have some interest - rugby, tennis, football. how about steam trains of the fifties or New Orleans Jazz greats?
find the subject and move onto it whenever he gets too morose. he will soon lighten up.
perhaps he has a tragedy in his past that makes him like this, a love who contracted cancer or a family member with some problem.

Just give it some time...maybe he is just being reserved...give it some time and try to include him in the things that you guys do as a group and hopefully he will come around..if not try and have your friend talk to him...but wait to see if he comes around first. Good Luck!

he is also finding it tough with u people, wants to b accepted and therefore this confusion. dont alienate him, take him as ur friend, treat him well and he will b okay.
c the things from his side, for him its like going into a new country and b/w diff types of people, it will take some time to adjust.
be good.

you respect your friend is what you do. what kind of questions is he asking? is he just making an effort to get to know you all? there is nothing wrong with being deep, its better than being shallow, it sounds like your judging the man and its not your place to do that.

I wouldn't get involved - it's her choice and she won't thank you for it.
He doesn't sound like a bad person, just someone who lacks confidence.
