is 35 k a year to much to expect?

Am, I entry level almost have an Associates in multimedia and also have done one company website with asp.net and two hobby websites with asp.net as well.......plus submitted applications to our CIO

I dont think so. 35k is reasonable for an entry level programmer. but it doesnt take long for the entry level to get to mid level. so perhaps in 6-7monts time after one project lets see you can raise up to 45-50k.... but from mid level to a pro level it takes a long time...

Without an AA (but a Masters in Psychology, go figure), I started at 36K 8 years ago. I was making twice that within 2 years. Good Luck.

It depends on the company.But anyhow 35k is very for a year.
If it is companies like google,trilogy,adobe,yahoo,informatica,Microsoft they are ready to give from 8-12 lakhs per year.
Even startup companies giving 1.2 lakh as minimum package for freshers.

So what you think is too less.
