Yes shops can install parts you bring. Where im from in michigan we have a shop called byop bring your own parts. But you dont want to go to a body shop for an engine replacement bodyshops are too busy usually it could take a while to get it done. Id just call around some Mechanics a fair price for mr to take out and put in a new motor provided you dont need any other parts like a mount or starter or pump or what have you. it should not be anymore then 500 dollars. Usually when you put in a new motor you need new parts id plan on spending close to a grand.

I am sure they will do anything for a fee. An auto repair shop would be fine for the engine. When you go to your local parts house ask the people working there. Sometimes they moonlight and do work on their own. Where I live the manager at NAPA is one of the best auto painter around. Something like engine replacement is simple, you should have no problem with that.

As to the mirror, call the body shop and ask.

Usually body shops don't install engines, and mechanics don't do body work.

As to price, since you neglected to mention year make and model, I can't even guess.

EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT AS TO WHAT THEY WILL INSTALL FOR YOU. I WORK FOR AN AUTO GLASS COMPANY AND MOST THINGS WE WILL INSTALL FOR CUSTOMERS. USUALLY THOUGH THERE IS NO GUARANTEE. AS FAR AS THE PRICE GOES IT VARIES. YOU SHOULD JUST CALL AROUND.
