So he didn't belt out his song but I thought he was one of the better singers. Is American Idol just a popularity contest?

I agree...Why is Brandon, Sabrina, Sundance, and Jarrod gone and Sanjaya is still there? These people sing wayyyyy Better than he does...I think they keep him there just to see what his hair is going to look like week after week.

Being a professional he should have done a better job of covering up the fact that he had forgotten some of the words. The rest of the song wasn`t much better either. The fact is that there are better singers than him and someone has to go home.

Even though he forgot his words, at least he guy CAN sing.....sanjaya CAN"T and needs to go home....it really is annoying me.
