This is an easy one...the Mavericks, as long as they don't start crying and whining like they did last year.
It could all be moot since they will likely lose to the Suns or the Spurs later in the playoffs, It may be best for you to wish for a quicker end than an embarrasment like last year.

Keep in mind Don Nelson is the coach of GSW. Hes an ex-Mavs coach so that means he knows the mavs from the back of his head. So you best believe he will coach his GSW so that they can not only read the mavs plays but to match the intensity level because the Mavs like to run the ball. Yeah! GSW is not the best team you want in the playoffs but its all about which team matches well with whom and I think since Don Nelson used to coach the Mavs he might as well have the recipe and strategy to beat his old team.

Mavericks, as long as they don't get too cocky. In the playoffs, experience plays a bigger role than in a regular season game and the pace slows down. Also the GSW won't be able to catch the Mavs off guard for an entire series, because the games aren't far apart like in the regular season.

The Mavs
They are a much better team overall than the GSW... i think its just a fluke that they lost their last 4 games to them... plus playoff basketball is different than the regular season - just look at the way Shaq plays... he's been decent during the regular season the past few years, but come playoff time he's a beast and Miami is a tough team

The grizzles, palms down. For one they have slightly more beneficial useful aspect look after play in mike conley, and performance arguably between the finest the front courts in the west next to Dwight and pau from the lakers. Zack Randolph can both submit up shoot the mid variety jumper continually or maybe shoot the occasional 3. And mark gasol is a really basically sound center it truly is above everyday in both his protection and offensive know-how. they actually have a bypass to scorer in Rudy gay. Baisically the memphis grizzles are a more beneficial balanced team than the mavs. The mavs have a hollow at center that could want to honestly be exploited by ability of the memphies bigs. So that's the reason the grizzles may win. do not ignore they did provide okc a run for the money very last year, and performance been a really sturdy team this year. nicely that's my opinnion.

No doubt it would be an interesting first round match up... the mavs have dropped four straight including two home games... at this point, despite being a warriors fan, i doubt they could actually beat the mavs in a 7 game series. I believe the warriors could take 2-3 games if it were to go down... the losing streak mos def plays a big role mentally in the matchup....btw go warriors

The regular season is one thing, but beating a team in a 7 game series is another. The Warriors don't have enough fire power to compete with Dallas night in and night out in the playoffs but they will be competitive. Mavs win the series 4-2.
