There isn't much you can do when you wear polish all the time it will stain your nails unless you take it off and go without for a while. If you decide to do this you can buff your nails and it will take off some of the stain. Maybe check a beauty supply and ask them if they have something that will take off.

I had the same exact problem!! What i did was file the yellowish stain off and to smooth them after i used a buffer. In the future, use a clear coat, or a base coat before painting on the colour. I had to learn that the hard way!!

To remove the stain right away use a buffer or smooth emory board... but Always put on a clear base coat before wearing all dark colors and also cheap polishes that you got on a whim because the color was cute... :)

Very LIGHTLY buff your nails with a super fine buffer.
When you wear polish in the future, make sure you use a non-yellowing clear base coat between your nail and the color--reds/oranges/dark colors stain the worst.
When you buff your natural nails always remember that every time you do, you are making your nail thinner so always do it so VERY lightly.

Use clear basecoats in the future.
Lemon juice helps get rid of nail stains.
Leave your nails without some nail polish for about 2 weeks.

Let them be polish free for about a week, then use only clear for awhile. Or buff the yellow off with a very low grain finger nail file or buffer sponge.

i'm partial to green polish and crimson too, which seem to reason the main yellow discoloration. I doubt that's a fungus. i attempted the peroxide element.....certainly i do no longer think of it did any good on suitable of probably being risky. i discover a advantageous 4-sided buffer has helped. I additionally think of you ought to take off the polish and enable your nails breathe. be optimistic to apply a base coat sooner or later....and in case you like a weekend, so do your nails.

Stop painting your nails for a while. In the future you should wear a base coat. Red color nail polish is a big culprit.
