I have male and female Campbells dwarf hamsters, who live in separate cages. Is it possible to introduce a male and female and expect them to breed?

Yes, they will most likely breed. Just be careful when introducing them, don't put the male in the females cage as she'll be more aggressive towards the male. Instead put the female in the male's cage, or in a completely neutral place.

The male can be left in the cage and will actually help tend the young. So there is no need to separate them right off, as dwarf hamsters live in colonies in the wild.

Good Luck to you.
