Downtown is very fun, lots of interesting stores to go shopping in. The bar scene is awesome(assuming you are old enough). The rent is high-good luck with that. You might consider living in Longmont or Golden, also housing at Lookout off of the 119, as the rentals are a bit cheaper but then you are commuting, it is up to you of course. There are lots of hiking spots right outside of town. Lefthand Canyon is beautiful, lots of cyclist do that. There is a park at the end of Walnut, follow it all the way through residential neighborhood and you will be greated with this park that has the opportunity of walking, biking, playground, picnicing and also for the more wild side of people inner tubing down the creek, spring run off is a good time to go, cold water. . . very cold water. Boulder is beautiful and there is a lot more to do than I listed. I am sure that you can find stuff on line, the college is there and so I know that once you find some locals you will find lots of fun. Once you have moved there venture to the rest of the state. Colorado has some really beautiful areas that you can just drive to, but some of the prettiest stuff is where you have to hike in. If you have time you can drive to the top of Mt Evans(I think that is the one, not sure if it will be open during spring break), the road is the scenic highway that goes to Idaho Springs. Check it out. Then end your day with Tommyknockers brewery in Idaho Springs and soak in the hot springs there in Idaho Springs.

i think of the extra useful decision may well be Boulder in this occasion. you're surely plenty closer to Denver than you would be in Keystone so which you're relatively able to circulate to the two places. Plus, being in Boulder purely places you at a pair of 40 5 mincontinual from Estes Park to boot that's a calming little mountain city. you're able to do a good number of out doorsy issues in Boulder like trekking, mountain cycling , stuff like that. additionally a calming element to do is to circulate tubing down Boulder creek. It gets particularly warm and not something cools you off extra useful than cruising down the creek. Pearl highway is great for eatting and buying and the night existence is exceedingly energetic even in the summertime. have relaxing!

The Pearl Street Mall is always *interesting* to say the least. You can meet some very interesting people there.

When i went to school there back in the 80's, I had a scooter that I used to ride up into the flatirons. It was pretty cool.
