I asked 5 questions and my silly one "How many pairs of jeans do you own" got a lot of answers and the others hardly any. Why is that?

Because most of the people on here are looking to give simple answers and collect their two points, rather than ruminate on a particular subject and offer an insight based on their own experiences and intellect.

I think I have at least 12, Some black and some blue. Do Jean shorts count? I have couple of those. And yes people don't like to have to think to much , so I they answer the easy questions without thought probably because they're at work and busy dealing with the day to day business.

Haven't you heard about the jeans frenzy? I think people, including myself, just answer questions that they can relate to. A lot of people have jeans, and they must like to talk about them.

Because the human brain is lazy. We'd rather answer questions like, "Do you like cheese", than "Do you like God". For the record, I own 3 pairs of jeans, but I only ever wear one.

We must all need a quicker picker upper rather than the serious dulldrudgery that is keeping our lives at bay.
Either that or the pre-school only wanted the pants one.

Simple, one or two word answer questions get better responses than those that require a lot of thought.
