Does that sentence look right so far

I would prefer 'the wonderful and superior effect that'.

Your sentence can be written that way, but you need to look at who is going to be reading and what exactly you are wanting to say.
Casual writing is very different from Academic writing and the rules are very different, therefore it is always important to keep this in mind.

Since you are trying to suggest that the 'effect' is indescribable with standard English you are putting two adjectives in front to double the impact. So it would be best if you were to say "the wonderful and superior effect that...."

I would love to know what the 'effect' is that is so wonderfully superior. :-)

The word 'superior' has a positive connotation and already means something that is much better... so adding another hyperbole is redundant, makes your writing too "flowery" and ornate (old fashioned)non-academic sounding. When you write remember that less is more if you are succinct and use appropriate vocabulary.
