they string them from pole to pole outlining their lot... We want to get the ones where you can use them all year round they get your attention really well. Also anyone know where to get them, what types of light bulbs they use and how much wattage is put out (what we will pay for a bill)????

Most electrical supply companies them . You can buy sockets that have pins to put on the cord bulb size is determined by the area you are lighting. This not an energy saving way to lte your lot it may pay in the long run to have a lighting consultant give some advice. Your hydro company may also help, BC Hydro has staff and booklets to help.
