I'm having a horrible time with this sentence: "Lesse shall insure that the lessor interests are endorsed on the said policy".

What does it mean "enorse" in this particular sentence?

You are the Lesse and you will insure(to make sure) that the Lessor(the company) and it's interests are Endorsed(signed) on the policy.

You will make sure that the company and it's interests are signed on the policy.

Lessor is the owner of a land or property and lessee is the person who rents the property or land. the sentence means that the person who rents the property shall insure that the owner's interests are supported on the policy mentioned.
