the woman you was sent to jail for 30 days because of her son's 12 rotten teeth? I caught the very end of the news report. Was there more to the story? It seems like a silly thing to send someone to jail for. I think they should have given her a warning, and an order to take her son to the dentist.

Was there more to the story? Did she do something else also?
Have you heard any similar news reports?

No I didn't hear this! What if she could not afford to take the child to the dentist. When you go to the dentist they are so high it cost at lot just to get your teeth cleaned not counting anything else you get done. But to put someone in jail for this like you said why not just give her a certain amount of time to get the child to the dentist.
