I can't reinstall windows - error msg on blue screen says I haven't terminated scsi devices. Does a Dell XPS have and "scsi device?" I've never done any modifications (never been "under the hood." As far as peripherals: nothing unordinary - external firewire drive, printer... that's about it? How do I find this scsi device (that I didn't even know I had), and then how do I "properly terminate" it? Please help!

Disconnect all peripherals, except Keyboard, Mouse and Monitor.

Re-install Windoze.

Install and connect Firewire device, printer, etc. one at a time after the Windows installation is complete.
