no, I though its been solidly in the 30's since 2005, but I'll take your word for it.

Ironically if Bush had an approval rating at 40% which is historically very low, the cons here would through a "Mission Accomplished" party and invite all of their friends

Well, it's like Bush won 51% to 49 %, and his rate is now 31%...So not only did 49% get it right, 20 % see the light!!

Remember the Truman Doctrine? His rating was at 22%. He is considered one of the all-time best presidents.

Mr Bush is obviously more concerned with doing the right thing instead of the most popular thing.
