I am gettin konerko wells and schimdt and giving up teixera Jones and ervin santana? any suggestions of help would be nice

I would rather have Teixeira, Jones and Santana.
Teixeira is better then Konerko and is being drafted higher in most leagues. They could do the same but Teix has more potential to do more.
Jones for Wells is a wash. They will hit the same ammount of RBi's and homers. D doesnt count in fantasy
Schimidt is older and not getting any better while Santana is. Santana is comeing into his own and should have a good to better then good year. Schimidt is on the decline but in a better ball park. So slight edge to Santana..
So +2 for him -2 for you. Doesnt seem like a good trade.

Teixeira has much more potential than Konerko in my opinion - but overall the stats are pretty even
Andruw Jones is much better than Vernon Wells - Andruw can put up 50 HRs.. the most I see Vernon hitting is 30... and Jones should have more RBIs as well
Santana is probably worse that Schmidt, but pitchers are always a dime a dozen and good ones always emerge during the season (i.e. - Liriano, Verlander, Cain, Hamels, etc.)

Right now it's about 50/50. He is 5-3 and has been giving up a lot of hits in games recently. In addition to that the Mets are struggling going 1-7 in their last 8 games, and Willie Randolph is in the dog house with a lot of Mets fans. The pressure pot is building and if the Mets don't start winning and Santana has a bad day on the mound things could "BLOW UP". If you can recall Santana did not take to well to Mets fans booing him the last time and he lashed out about it. If the Mets fan end up having to let him have it again it will be much worse than before. At that point he could very well regret ever coming to New York.

I say it is a pretty even trade, it is a matter of which players you like better. If it is a H2H league go with Tex, Jones, and santana. If it is a ROTO league then go with Konerko, Wells and Schmidt because Andruw Jones willl hurt your average catagories a lot more than the other guys.

No way. Tex is goin to have a huge year. PK and JS are gettin older. Plus Santana could be the number two starter this year.

Maybe not this exact deal but I would sent a similar counter... Schmidt is waaaay underrated this season. He is going to be awesome pitching for the Dodgers and playing half his games in a very pitcher-friendly park.

I wouldn't,,,,Konerko and wells are injury prone.
