I am a district nurse visiting people in their own home and I love it! But there are bits of it that are very boring (all the computer work and referrals). I always thought that the work of a geologist/assistant would be a fascinating job? I always wanted to do your job!!!

I'm a marketing assistant. And apart from spending a lot of the companies time on here, I also plan my escape via the internet and email.

Not much work going in my specialisms at the mo, so going to do some evening classes at the beginning of the new accademic year to broaden my employment horizons (as the degree seems to be a bit of a dud). Hey, I miss education anyway!

I'm a geologist assistant too!!! well o.k that's kind of a lie, my husbands a geologist but I do assist him by opening a bottle of wine for him in the evenings. I study for a degree in social care and enjoy a great expat life in north Africa.

I work in a hotel and the I love my job, yeah sure sometimes the hours can be a bit of a drag especially if you want to go away for the weekend. Most of the time I get to meet really interesting people and have had my fair share of real nasty ones. I work with a great group of people and live with most of them in a staff house we are really like one big family. I started as a receptionist and I am currently working my way to the top. I cannot wait to go to work tomorrow.

As a Real Estate Investor....my work varies depending upon which stage of the investment I'm in.
I could be doing any of the following...
Obtaining financing from the bank
Researching/ Data Processing Market Trends
Scanning new listings in my areas of interest
Purchasing/ Inspecting Properties
Hiring/delegating rehab. work to my contractors
Staging/listing the property/once sold....I start all over again.
I also redesign peoples homes and stage for their listing.
I just got a new client who lives just about a mile down from Eddie Murphy's Granite Bay Estate here in Nor-Cal.
I'll be faux painting her Foyer.

I run an engineering business with my business partner, we employ 6 men and its more like running a nursery than a business as they always have something to moan about, don't do what you ask them to.

I hate it and pray for the day when we can shut it down - at least you only have the hassle of working for someone not all the hassles that going with running a business, employing people and the financial reward is certainly not worth it.

I'm a homemaker. I'm unable to work due to a disability, so I spend all my time at home. I'm also a 'trophy wife' - I help my husband in his career - I do all the socialising and entertaining, and generally looking after him so he can do his best at work. At the moment, I'm also getting organised to sell a house. Before I had to give up work, I was a Pharmacy Assistant, and when I was able to be more active, I was a Nursery Nurse.

i'm a delivery driver for a kebab and pizza shop. i only work part time because i am disabled. its an easy job really, i get paid to drive my car around all night listening to music. i don't finish til midnight so when i get home i watch a bit of telly, eat something then go to bed at stupid o'clock in the morning! i don't like mornings. my kids are old enough to get themselves up for school and college so i can sleep during the morning. on the nights i don't work i stay home with the kids, watch telly, on PC (if i can get to it that is) and try to relax. i do housework during the day with time off to answer questions!!!!! one day a week i have my grandaughter. shes hard work but adorable.
