The qualities I like most in an individual are these: intelligence, tollerance, an open mind, humour, and probably a few other things that I haven't thought of. I'm not sure you could put that down to a specific 'type', but I guess these things most commonly come together in confident people. Not cocky people, but those with genuine self confidence. This is because they are secure enough in themselves to voice their opinions without feeling the need to belittle those of other people. They are usually able to laugh at themselves, at that. Great question. Are you looking for suitable candidates to make friends with? :)

I tend to hang out with headbangers, potheads, and alcoholics. I'm not a pothead and when I'm not pregnant I do drink but only 2-3 times a year I am a headbanger though and maybe that's why those are the type of people I hang with I love going to concerts with my circle of friends I can bring my kids and have a great time.

Light hearted funny people because the world is too serious and screwed up to live in without moments of humor and jokes and fun.

I love people that keep in touch call once or twice a month to check on how im doing. I feel that someone really cares about me when they call. They might just wanna use me but at leaset they remember that i'm still alive. And if they call they might find out i died and they might come to my funeral. It just nice to keep in touch and those people that keep in touch are really thoughtful.

I like the people who keep it real and don't enjoy stabbing someone in the back. Someone who you know that will be there if you need them to for no matter what and when they leave they don't have something bad to say about you or anything that you have confided in them.

I like tattooed, pierced, outgoing, nice, creatively smart people. usually if i go out of that region i start to get weird looks from people, but i do pretty much get along with everybody,
