Just get the usual chips, suckers and some odd sweets!
Kids that age keep themselves busy so no need for major expenses to be incurred!
With my son I just turn on a hose pipe and hes happy for hours, its amazing how much they love water at that age!
Good Luck!!!

A few very cheap but interesting ideas: Remember, kids will eat anything that looks fun, it does not have to cost much at all. Take bread, cut off the crusts, cut the slices in half. (rectangles). Now put a small slice of tomato, a small bit of cheese under it, then a slice of gherkin under that. Cut 3 circles in the other half of the sandwich, and you have traffic light sandwiches. And it's healthy and cheap. Cheese and bacon potatoes: Take a few small potatoes, boil until tender, scoop out the flesh and mix with finely chopped bacon. Spoon it back in the potato skins, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake until heated through. These are lovely! Make mini patties out of minced beef and finely chopped onions, Cut 4,5cm rounds from bread, brush it with butter and bake until crisp. Patties on these, with a bit of melted cheese for hair, and tomato sauce for a smile, mustard nose and gherkin bits for eyes. etc. etc. If you like these, and want more, let me know, I'll email it to you. Just keep in mind to make it look like fun! For sweet things: Wafer rolls, let them dip it in chocolate, then dip in hundreds and thousands, or coconut. Games- pass the parcel, always a good one. Treasure hunt with simple and funny clues, all guests to be rewarded for the find! (a small chocolate bar or something for the winners.) Or ask the mums if they can have a beauty parlour, and use your own make up to do their faces. Or actual face paint is not expensive.

Bull (can I call you Raging bull/ Rage?)... I think I should come to you for advice on kids parties. Simple and no fuss...lol!

Sweet-Angel... I'm sure you can read in kids magazines some pretty good inexpensive ideas. Even the goody bags! You can hand make things yourself, I think ten kids isnt too bad. Not too many fizzy or sugery stuff...(they turn into monsters after that...lol).

hope this can help, but rather for getting ideas, not joining...lol
