Check out my website - Great Murder Mystery Games (see the link below) for lots of info on hosting murder mystery games.

I've included lots of hints and tips for hosting - both on choosing a game (including games for kids) and on things like food, venue, casting and the like.

I hope your daughter has a great 16th!

first off i have helped with a murder mystery at a hotel so here goes

1) keep the murderer quiet do not let anyone know who it is
keep only a few ppl in the loop
2) make your characters-- and make that fast
when you send out invites make sure you have the ppl know who they will be playing
3) tell everyone on the invite it is a murder mystery and to be prepared to DIE
4) keep it moving play games that will go on all night
a treasure hunt is a good one ppl will keep an eye out for things all night and keep the flow of the party going
5) lay clues out right in the open (only the smart ones will find them) you can also give hints to your guest during the night on how to find the clue's
all the clues lead to 1 person YOUR MURDERER

this should help you get started AND ALWAYS HAVE FUN

on a similar time as people like O'Reilly have been severe of Bush for his massive spending, Obama has spent extra interior the previous few months than Bush did in 3 years. And he's barely only commencing! i'm a libertarian, disgusted with the two events. - - - - I skimmed interior the direction of the media concerns link. It comments that Fox information is reporting the tea events in a non-adverse style. It comments that various the commenators are asserting that they are liking the reality of those tea events. And it comments that the tea events are exhibiting their determination for Fox information. None of that constutites "organizing" a tea party. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that it does instruct that they are biased. So what? what's so threatening some information community balanced to the spectacular pondering all the different information networks are biased to the left? I watch the two Fox & CNN! it rather is the form you get the two aspects.

well here is a couple ideas:
type up some clues, and have people search all over the area to find the answers to these 'clues'
---and----maybe you can even hide things and have ppl walk around and see if they are clues...

honestly i have no idea, but i would love to be a help..!!!!!!!
