Regina Saskatchewan Canada has about 100,000 people and we have the highest crime rate in Canada.I would have thought bigger cities like Toronto,Calgary or Vancouver would be worse but I guess not.

Wow the highest rate of crime in a city with only 100,000 people ......What crime rates are up ? A lot of crimes are up because more and more people are reporting crimes nowadays whereas b4 the may have no bothered....I always assumed Canada had a low level of crime so this is a slap in the face for me but i would still live in Canada in a heartbeat.....

Toronto Calgary or Vancouver are worse you are just looking at per capita. Due to the fact that Regina has only 100 000 people is why you see it as the highest crime rate, as your measuring it against cities of millions of people. Toronto probably has 200+ murders but because there are what 3 million + people per capita this is less than regina's 5 murders per 100 000 people... Can't take stats at just face value eh.

Wow that's weird I thought New York City was bad, but I guess not as bad as Regina Saskatchewan! How is Canada? Sounds cool... well except for the crime. Wish I lived in Canada!

is the unemployment rate higher, there has to be a reason. I live in Toronto, and it has a high rate of crime also.

the estimate is probably "per capita" meaning the highest number for a city that size.

No...sometimes smaller remote isolated places can breed and grow some bad stuff that festers and releases is poison.
