Yes, I have one in my wallet, fresh from an ATM machine. The note has a large number of anti-counterfeit measures incorporated within it, including a wider silver strip, holograms of Adam Smith, microscopic print (beneath the Queen's portrait), an extended "blank" area in which the watermark appears and raised print in several places. The Bank of England says that it also has a number of covert features it will not disclose to the public. This is the first time that a Scotsman has appeared on a Bank of England note.
Interestingly, the £20 note has by far the greatest circulation of any note in the UK.

no but i had 900 pounds from my british fiancee who passed away but i gave it away to charity and i later found out thats like 1600 in american money oh well
