Legally amend the "Republic of" right out of the constitution! Replace it with Direct True consensus style Democracy! You would be ending the current role of Representative government or reducing them to "unlike now" well managed employees subject to firing at will. We live in high-tech times now NOT the horse & buggy era!

The fact is that America HAS been changing, rather dynamically for its entire history. Whether one views the changes as good or bad largely is dependent up ones views of how our constitution should be viewed.

There is no such thing as a static in the universe. This applies to nations as well.

Perhaps your question should have been more leading so that we could see better which direction of change you would like to see.

But then, it would probably just degenerate into bashing the opposing political parties positions, which most answers will do anyway.

Get rid of Illegals and ignore radicals from other countries who think they know what is best for us.
