how can people around the world change the view for islam?

first of all people should know what islam really is , know islam from it's real sources not from media,
and u'll find it a very peacefull very positive and very logic but unfortunatly many ignorant people malpractice it so dont judge islam by wrong muslim muslim act. it's like judging a very good car that it is a bad one bcoz it just made an accident.

I think the Islamic leaders need to stand up and take action against any group that uses their religion to harm others. Christianity has blood on its hands too, but how many hundreds of years has it been since the Catholic Church waged a war? If Muslim leaders would teach their people killing is wrong and quit playing the part of victims and instead take a positive approach to things I believe they would have a better world image.
