If they wanna win then yes he needs to play like an MVP, as far as geting back on track goes when they win @ the pistons
they have to win against the spurs and the Lebron James and the rest of the CAVS. Remember the game between james and the Mavs he didn't get the game winning shot last time but if he gets the chance this time he will make for sure so they need to be careful know lebron good and not let stupid things happen like fouling players when taking 3 point shots.

Teams like the Mavericks have a bigger fish to fry. It's not fun to lose games, but they have their sight set on the ring, and losing a few games (literally) isn't going to affect their ultimate goal or their attitude. It was an awesome game to watch, and it was good to see Nowitzki light up with that same playoffs intensity from last year. They are a special team; a special team who will lose to the Bulls at the Finals. :p

Mavericks will not get back on track as they lose their morale already and I think Nowitzki will hit a 3, only in the playoff.

I think they will let go of the loss to Phoenix and bounce back in there next game. They are at 50-11 and should finish the season 70-12 or 69-13.

I think that Dallas will be ok. They don't have many tough games left on their schedule and last night was just one of those games. Dirk had a few chances to "ice" the victory but Nash and Stoudemire just wouldn't die. So they won't hang their hat on that loss for too long because their remaining 19 games are "friendly" enough to give them their "swagger" back,

It's just a mini slump. Avery will have them up and kicking for the playoffs. About the 3's, it's a small part of his game now. Honestly, I want him driving to the hole more.

i hate the mavs, but i'd have to say they are probably gonna win it all this year. its unsafe to say when they will be back, because every team is targeting the mavs right now. they figure "we've got nothin to lose, if we beat em, then we just beat the best team in the L, and if we lose, then we just lost a game we were suppose to lose anyways." I think dirk is scared to shoot right now cause he doesnt want to mess up his team's winning flow. but once he realizes the mavs are currently in a winning drought, he'll step up.

Better for them to get the wake up call now then during the playoffs.
