A bit messy after winter, but it's best to wait until after there's no chance of frost to really clean up, at least that's what I was always taught. That way if there's any late frost the roots & young growths will be protected and insulated by the leaves and debris on the ground, rather than be exposed to the cold. I'll get started on it soon though!

"much less is extra". in the past you initiate sweating over your loss of area, make the final out of what you have have been given. that's a actuality that your returned backyard is small, and for some, that must be only what they are looking for. think of approximately unmarried working human beings, senior electorate and persons that do exactly no longer use their backyards. What ever you have there, shop it to the minimum. in case you have partitions, or a great fence around it, provide it a clean coat of a easy-shade paint. this is gonna make the area seem sparkling, impartial and huge. in case you have pots, leave purely a number of them, possibly the biggest ones on the far corners of the backyard, and different mid-sized ones around, bear in concepts the opening fact, extra is way less, in case you have many stuff in the backyard, this is gonna make the area seem cluttered. provide a of completion with a collection of bistro chairs and table. i'm optimistic that once you're promoting your place by a actual state company, they must be attentive to what to declare to entice shoppers, yet once you're doing it your self, make certain you state the size of the returned backyard of course, alongside with a word that entice shoppers, alongside with "unfastened maintenance returned backyard"

Just yesterday, I saw tips of tulips poking through! So excited! I know they're so short lived, but I look for them every year!

It's too early to plant anything else in Chicago, but I plan to get some tomatoes, basil and chili peppers.

Pretty dead. The ground is still frozen. We don't plant here until the middle of June because of fear of frost.
