Give him a weekend surprise, if he's off sat,sun. Tell him Mon. to make no plans for the weekend,say it in a way he'll not want to make plans and really be wondering all week what's going to happen. remind him a couple times through the week about the surprise he has in store.
Fri. have everything ready, house cleaned, have a sitter for the kids,if any. Have his favorite dinner waiting for him, after dinner send him out with his friends, but tell him he has to be home by 1am. for desert, have his favorite desert waiting for him, when he gets home, and you fill in the rest of Fri. night
Sat. Give him breakfast in bed, tell him to go do something he wants to do or watch TV. But has to be home by 5:00pm. you spend the day at a spa, a Lil present for yourself. Have him shower and put on some good clothes, while he's showering, finish getting ready,I'm sure it won't take you tooo long ;} and dress to impress.
Take him to his favorite restaurant, well you take it from here, I'm sure you'll do just fine, He'll love anything you do for him.
Sun. go out to breakfast and lounge around together all day

There is no such thing as a "six month" anniversary. The word ANNIVERSARY means a YEAR. So your first anniversary is one year after you got married. Do you celebrate your birthday or your HALF-birthday?

Give him one of those lovers coupon books you can get at bookstores. The coupons specifically state something you can do for him (not all are sexual) that he can redeem at any time. I found one at books a million.
Cook him his favorite meal, get some wine and candlelight going.... you get the drift. Good luck!
