Frames, however, make it harder for the user to operate with such websites. Since pages usually appear inside a frame of the home page, all pages seem to have the same URL, making it difficult to bookmark or print out individual pages.
That's why frames are not very common among professional websites that use mostly server side scripting languages such as PHP or ASP.
