I agree with the other answerer, really nothing. The earth wouldn't explode or anything if that is what you might be thinking. I agree there would be a change in geological thinking if there were none or if they stopped. Atmosphere would be a little different. If they never erupted during the whole history of earth we might not be here as they had a huge role in developing our atmosphere in the "beginning". Ultimately a lot of places around the world would be a lot safer if they didn't but that's it.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

If volcanoes didn't erupt then we wouldn't have flat land.
The lava from the volcanoes burns everything in it's path so then it would flatten.
Then all the other things can do their job.
Like the trees can re-grow without the roots spreading too far apart.

There would be less atmospherc carbon dioxide and sulfates, although it would not be noticeable compared to anthropogenic levels.
Really nothing terrible would happen except for alot of geologists freaking out.
Hawaii wouldn't continue to grow.
If you mean indefinetly, then really there would be a major issue. It would throw the theories of plate tectonics wildly off. No volcanism means there is no subduction of oceanic crust.

It would mean the heat of subduction had been bleeding away. Possibly the magma chamber is empty as a result.
Has movement of the heat plume forced the gas and magma to find a new exit. I'd want to know.
