Seriously my skin is white and my ancestor's came from Europe (Spain), just like ALL white people at one time or another (Europe). Yet people say I'm not white since I know Spanish!!! Why are people so ignornant and stupid in this country? I guess that is what happens when only 30% of the people over 25 in this country have a college degree......uneducated collective!!! I have white skin, ancestors are from Europe...how am I not white?

Of course you are white! The Spanish, Portuguese, Italians (including Sicilians) as well as the Greeks are all Caucasian.
Race is determined by craniofacial anthropometry and not by skin color anyway. The Caucasian, or white, race has three subcategories: Nordic, Alpine & Mediterranean.
I know what you mean about people thinking someone isn't white just because Spanish is their native language. It's so stupid. There's also a common misconception that Hispanic (or "Latino") is a race. Those are ethnic designations based on language & culture. It would appear that a lot of people don't seem to understand the difference between race & ethnicity.
The term "white" is not really meant to be taken so literally. Caucasian people have a wide variety of skin tones. It's quite narrowminded of people to assume that only Anglo-Saxons are white.

I suggest that you research all of your genealogy, But until then, check the other box.
Because it is very clear some where down the line you are considered a minority to the collective society and that is determined by what percentage of the rainbow is your blood heritage. and that is what the educated majority term as bi-racial and or multi-racial, So what percentage of your heritage is Anglo ?, Hint : read the history of King Hannibal
