Some guys aren't physically affectionate, but express affection, when they do, through sex. Sex is how a man validates his value to you. This man can be taught to show you the non-sexual affection you need. Sex can be his reward, but don't forget to have sex frequently for it's own sake without attachment to the affection reward system or he'll become resentful.
Guys are also willing to have sex with people they don't love and respect so you may be in a relationship that is only one of convenience to him and he's only interested in you when he wants to get laid. This would be a marriage where he uses the word love as a tool of manipulation and possession and one that you should run from.

oh I just ended a relationship because of that very reason.No kind of romance,no kind of foreplay.no other kind of touching,just a pat on my butt when he wants sex.To tell you the truth we had only kissed maybe twice,and he never touched me where he should have.I hate thinking about sex with him,we are friends now but never again will be sexual.He doesn't get it but but being sensual should come natural like second nature.not forced.

Sounds like you and your husband need to have a long talk.Explain how you feel. If that doesn't work suggest counsel ling. If he won't do it and it bothers you that much. Cut him off until he understands, but if you do this make sure he understands why he's cut off, and when you'll be turned back on, no pun intended

Some men aren't affectionate that way. Talk with him about it and see if things change. A lot of times, if he wasn't raised in a home that was a touchy feely give a lot of hugs home, he won't be like that.

Cuz that how he shows you love. Most men are not touchy feely. Be glad he is touching you and not a chick on the side.

Because it is all about him and not you. Tell him you have needs too and they don't always mean sex. Tell him what it is for you and ask that he put himself out and do them. Remind him he may be nicely rewarded for his troubles....:)

This makes my blood boil when a person is like this! It's like you mean nothing till he's horny.

that's how men show affection.
you need to tell him how you feel. at certain times you should hold his hands, give him a hug or kiss. maybe he will catch on.
