Please forgive my stupidity, but t.v. is not my thing. I keep seeing adverts for "Roots" on channel 1.

As far as I know Comcast doesn't have a channel 1. Is there some way I can get it, or is there something I don't understand here?

they use Channel 1 as their "On Demand" listing. if it says its on channel 1, then its On Demand.

There is a cable channel called TV One. They show a lot of programming with black entertainers. That movie will probably be on there. My son gets that channel in Houston.
