i am confuse about this method, my teacher said it is when the mucus of a female is stretchable and sticky, the sperm can enter through it,meaning the woman can get pregnant, but according to my other teacher, the sperm cannot enter if it is thick and can be stretch. help me resolve this! thnx!!!!!

Basically, the stretchy "eggwhite" mucus is the most fertile. If it is thicker and more "creamy," it is less fertile, but since that usually comes immediately before or after the most fertile type, you should still consider it fertile.
Check out "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" or "The Art of Natural Family Planning." They both have really great descriptions. It does take awhile to figure out, but once you understand your own body, it's a lot easier. Good luck!

You should first have the knowledge of what spinnbarkeit is. it is a cervical fluid secreted as a result of the activities of hormonal activities during menstrual cycle. this mucus is thick and creamy. as a result of it's thick nature it does not allow the passage sperm cells, thus fertilization of the released ovum cannot occur.
