All the good leaders were driven out of power in 2000, 2002, and 2004. They were replaced by the con artists we have today. Don't worry, it will all be over in 2 years and then we can pretend like all of this never happened. Just like the Germans so of pretend that Hitler never ran their country.

That's quite a statement. Are we to assume that the generations that preceded you had nothing to do with making America great? Surely the generation that started this country had a hand in making it great. What about the intrepid explorers and settlers that set out across a dangerous continent to settle the west? Do we deny the contributions of those who fought against slavery? I guess American history starts with the WWII generation now. I appreciate that generation's contribution to the modern world as much as anyone else, but let's keep it in historical perspective. We are products of our cultural and biological ancestors. But something went wrong. While the "greatest" generation was out building greatness, someone forgot to pass on that greatness to the next generation. The Boomers are perhaps the most self-absorbed generation to have ever lived. As they rapidly become seniors, they expect that the smaller generations following them will break their collective backs to keep Boomers fed, clothed, and entertained in the manner to which they have become accustomed and damn any of us ungracious Gen-X, Gen-Yers that balk at it. How did the "worst" generation follow the "greatest" generation?

Right, and the senior citizens of today have done nothing to support themselves in retirement. They have milked the social security dry, they hold on to jobs they can no longer perform and threaten to sue if the company tries to fire them. It isn't the Senior Citizens that made America so great; those who truly formed this country are all dead. The seniors of today, most didn't fight during WWII, not many of those left. Most were college students protesting in the 60's. It was your generation and the one before that gave us the great depression, racism, allowed communism into the country, and the list goes on for decades. Your generation and those before gave us just as much problems as ours is now. People here won't stand together on anything because one group always has the attitude of yours. One person and one group did not make this country great. The people of this country have made it was it is today (all the people). And that is why ALL the people need to fight the problems we are having now and stand up for what is right. One last problem your generation has given us is VOTER FRAUD, learned how to use the voting machine yet?

Those who served in WWII did provide a great contribution to America thanks to them English and not Japanese is the official language of our country and the constitution is still the guidelines by which are country is governed.
As for Great Leaders in 2007, I don't see that happening. Unfortunately, integrity and values is a thing of the past and now it's all about special interests and corporate influence.

I'm sorry, technology that you bought made America so great. You seniors ate up all the happy blenders and vacuums and modern conveniences, and started the trend of beating out the Joneses.
Now, we have only seen this selfish and lazy trend grow exponentially, to be the video game freaky culture that relies on GPS to get us around.
It's you who started the break with hard work and asceticism.
Don't complain now.

It's the senior citizens that make up a majority of the Congress people that screwed this country. They passed the debt on to the next generation and the next.

I am "middle-aged," and sometime's I'm glad I'm not a young man.

The prior generation made great sacrifices for my generation and the ones following it.

I'm not at all sure we're worthy of their contributions, or that we will do what is necessary to make sure what we were given is preserved.

It's very sad.

Please, spare us the rhetoric. Define "senior citizens"? Because if you are a Baby Boomer, then you are in fact a disgrace to our country.

You introduced rampant drug use in the 60's along with free love and the hippy generation.

You passed Roe v. Wade and began the legal and endless slaughter of millions of innocent babies.

You put a President in the White House that was a total disgrace to the office of the presidency.

You are a generation full of selfish whiners strung out on Botox and plastic surgery.

You've "liberalized" our universities and court systems allowing pedophiles to walk free and jailed good honest working people.

You spat on our troops when they came home from Vitenam.

You've produced such morons as Jane Fonda, Cindy Sheehan, and Michael Moore who have disgraced our country with their left-wing, unpatriotic, filth.

You are rapidly soaking up all of our hard earned Social Security and will leave nothing for the next generation of senior citizens.

You've shoved the homosexual agenda down our throats and told us we are homophobes if we don't accept it.

Your generation introduced AIDS to America.

Need more examples? Because there are plenty more.

Us Gen Xers can't wait for you morons to pass through so only then can we rebuild what you damaged.

So, please enlighten us, what you did to make America GREAT!

America is at risk because of a lot of foreign influences such as terrorist web walkers who stir the fires of discontent.
Most of America understands the war on terror will not end for a long time.
we will never surrender.
that is what makes us great.

Unfortunately, only a few of WW2 vets, who made America so great, still live today.
