I think 512 Mb Graphic card might mostly be for the PCI-Express platform which ur computer doesnt support physically and anyhow 512 Mb Graphic Card would be an overkill for ur computer. But anyhow it would have been if u could have mentiond the name and model of the card

The processor shouldn't be the determining factor. The motherboard is more important when determining whether you can upgrade the video card. Consult the motherboard manual or the manufacturer's website.

I don't see why not, as long as you have an empty slot and a card that'll fit into said slot.
