It depends on the field you plan to study. But they'd be approximately like this, in general terms:

1) LSE or Kings (depending on field of study)
3) Manchester or Birmingham or Bristol (depending on field of study)

The Times Good University Guide puts them in the following order:

1. London School of Economic and Political Science
2. Bristol
3. King's Collge London
4. Manchester
5. Birmingham

are we talking statistics or which ever one sounds a nicer place to go??
no-one can say for sure, university is about experience and whatever you put into it you will get rewarded back for. unless you go to all 5 no-one had the knowledge to judge let alone on statistics!!
