First sort the spreadsheet on the column with the duplicates in.
Now create a new column next to the duplicate column.
Assuming the duplicates column is A type the following in the new column assumed to be B.
=a1=a2
Now copy this to the end of the list.

A value of true will indicate a duplicate.
You can now use auto filter to select only the true rows and delete them.

You may have to repeat this exercise if there are more than two entries for a value.

You can do this easily with data filtering. Here's how:

1) Highlight desired rows of data.
2) Click on Data, choose Filter, then Advance filter

You will then see an Advance Filter window.

3) Choose "Copy to another location"
4) Check box for "Unique records only"
5) Click OK

You're done. Enjoy.

Hope this helps!
