awesome specifications !

one & only change i would like is the t7200 processor in place of the t5500
> higher clock speed & double the l2 cache, at 4 mb
____________

yup, i've checked specs & know processor t5500
yes, the notebook is good enuf for most games
the point i am trying to make is that you are spending a good amount on this system
by spending a little bit more on t7200 procesor > if you have the option ... it performs vastly better
it becomes a different product altogether !
> sort of turbo charging

as many other said, it's up around the top models, with most of the things a gamer needs, but i would recommend that ou look for a higher clock speed processor, perhaps the Core 2 Duo T5600 (1.83 Ghz), T7200 (2.0 Ghz), T7400 (2.16 Ghz), or even the T7600 (2.33 Ghz), but i think the T5600 would do fine. The T7200 is quite a bit more expensive than the T5600, and the other 2 speeds are hard to find in ready made laptops. Also, you should upgrade your RAM to the maximum 4GB once you buy it. Wish i had enough money for one of that too. :P

Hi. Looks like a nice laptop but with a clock speed of 1.66 GHz it will probably not play the latest games smoothly.

If you are thinking about certain games, go look for their system requirements.

Other than that, you might want to look for a higher clock speed processor. I see that the laptop you want to buy has (only) 1.6 GHz. Maybe a 2 GHz one would be better.

Here's an example:

This is the best configuration one can buy. You have almost all the options built-in. Why do you go for Toshiba. HP is a better choice. It will decrease cost even.

This set of configuration is the latest in market. You can readily buy this. It performs well for Games.

thats is a really great machine. it will handle most anything you throw at it. battery life wont be that great, but it is a portable desktop. you should enjoy it. very nice, i suggest looking at some of the specs of each game you entend on playing and see if this matches up. i am sure that it will. I ENVY you.;lol
