If you are thin, healthy and young, then it may take a while for you to start showing. Your body's muscle tone can have a lot to do with it.
I was very thin with both pregnancies and didn't show with my first until about 6 months and even at 9 months I only looked about 5 months pregnant.
Now pregnant with my 2nd (11 years later) I am still not showing... Could be the way your uterus is built... maybe you are carrying high and back like I did with my daughter.
Don't worry! Every one carries differently, however if you are really concerned then speak with your health care professional ... an ultrasound could help ease your mind! :)
Good luck and congratulations! :)

Some women do not begin to show or get big until the last 2 months of preganacy. When I had my first child my stomach didn't begin to show until I was almost 6 months. And even then it was not very big. By the last month however went through a growth spurt. In any event at 17 1/2 weeks the foetus The foetus is about 6 and 1/4 inches long and weighs 4-5 ounces....... stilll veery tiny. .
Being an expectant mother myself, I know your anxiety. So as to put your mind at ease you should consult your doctor so that he can confirm that your baby is growing at the normal rate and that alll is well.
All the best !

I'm 16 weeks and not showing at all. I am 5'4 115 lbs. At the doctor at 15 weeks I hadn't gained an ounce but they weren't concerned and said by month 5 there should be a more significant bump.

When I got pregnant with all 3 of my girls I weighed 115 am 5'4" and I did not start showing until I was 7 months pregnant(28 weeks)
Your belly will look different from day to day depending on where baby is laying.

Sometimes it takes a while. I am 29 weeks 4 days and I started showing about 2 weeks ago. I am also tall, 5'8" and was in shape before getting pregnant. With your first you may show late, I did. Every woman is different. You will show soon enough.... good luck..

It's normal with your first pregnancy not to show right away (our muscles are still tight and in shape from not previously carryign a child). I'm 24 weeks pregnant now and it's finally obvious that I am pregnant. I started to show about 22-23 weeks.

Hi There,
I'm pregnant with my first (27 weeks) and I didn't show until my 5th month. Everyone is different and especially if it is your first it's not unusual to show later - at least that's what I was told:) Good luck and congrats:)
