supposed to be Mahtma Ghandi who liberate India from Great Brittain Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, or Mahtma (Great Soul) Ghandi did much to liberate India from Great Brittain, but Gandhi contributed also lasting ideas and beliefs. Gandhi spent his life in a quest for truth. By tolerance and concern for all men, he believed that truth could be found through constant testing. Gandhi attempted to conquer fear within himself and sought to live a simple life, foregoing eating animals or using their hides. His ideas on non-violent protest would influence Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement and his autobiography My Experiments with Truth influenced many more.
