i work in a Convinent Store ( cheveron) and make 6.50 a hour only working 25hours a week...clearing around 120 a week. am i getting underpayed... shoul di look for another job or get another job in the mornings becuase my hours are 5pm to 11pm.

yeah thats normal.. and honestly im surprised its that much.. lol but then again im in louisiana, and minimum wage here (os everywhere the same???) is like.. $5.50 i think.. anyway.. yeah.. hehe

That is standard for a convenience store. Sounds like it is the minimum wage where you live. If you were in a managerial position, it would be slightly higher. If you are only scheduled for 25 hrs a week in the evening, and it's a regular shift, it couldn't hurt to find another 20-25 hours during the day time to make 40 hrs a week.

Sounds about right for that kind of work where I live. Economics are different in different parts of the country. But if you're that unhappy, find another job, silly!

it sounds about right. if you claimed 0 dependents on your w4 then they usually take out 25 percent in tax withholdings.

if your making 6.50/h ...120 should be what you would get paid after taxes.

What is minimun wage.....check that, you sahould be making a little more than min wage.
