Is it wrong if a mexican call a black person the N word as friendship? What's the deal or idea about that?

Next question: Has Eminem ever used that word in any of his music? If yes, why?

Yes. It's wrong in all kinds of ways. I don't think we as black people should say it to one another. People today who say the N word have no clue what it really means because they didn't live in slavery times and don't know the magnitude of the word. As a matter of fact, there should be no racism, but that's just a dream because there are going to be all kinds of racist idiots in the world.

I don't listen to Eminem, but I've never known him to say the N word because I'm sure it would be in the news if he did.

Guys use it all the time amongst themselves when greeting, etc. There was even a group of kids in Korea when I visited that were calling each other that. I think it depends on how cool you are with a person and if there is an understanding. But that's still a touchy subject. Overall, I think a word is only as powerful as you allow it to be.

first question thats your just your opinion some will say yes, some will say no. bob would say yes, but again its your opion.

bob doesnt think eminem has ever said the n word in any of his mainstream songs, but eminem has said it on a studio track when he was underground because he had a black girlfriend and she just broke up with him, the track was about how black girls only want your money and are gold diggers it was a kim type of joint, ben brought this up in the em ben beef.

okay.that word shouldn't be used at all but when it is it has different meanings. when 2 AA people say it to each other they are not saying it to be demeaning, but as a sign of friendship/brotherhood. It's not seen as okay for anyone outside of the race to say it because then it sounds like they are trying to demean you and put you down, not as a sign of friendship. It's mostly an understanding thing. I know some AA guys with caucasin friends and they go around calling each other that and it just means they're friends. It depends on how it's used. Eminem uses it the same way AA use it and not as demeaning.

I'm black and I think it's very wrong!! It's stupid when black people get mad when someone of a different race calls you "the n word". We get all mad and we just point the finger and we get so emotional over it. But when we as blacks call eachother that because thats your friend ( " Yo my n____, how you been?") or used to replace someones name ( " You see that n____ over there with that fine girl?!"), it's all fine and dandy. But I don't know how I feel about the Eminem thing though...

The 'N' word id wrong for anyone to use, including black people. I dont care if u say it with the -ER or with an A at the end. Its still wrong. The meaning behind it is degrading, disrespectiful, demoralizing, painful and filled with hate. And if u say it to the wrong person, he or she is going to knock your head off. So no, its not right to say at all.

yes it's wrong. The word itself is disrespectful. I'm latin and I have heard people in my culture use it with each other. anyway you put it no matter who is doing the saying to who. It sounds disrespectful. And as to your second question has eminem used it. I don't know and don't care.

I think it is wrong to use it. I know friends that use it and yes they give it a different meaning and it is in hip hop music. I don't like that it is being used freely because it gives people of other races the permission to use and abuse it.

There is no problem whatsoever with using this word. Eminem has, on occasion, dropped an N bomb-but again its a non-issue.
