I am looking for an old saxophone in particular but any woodwind that has been bashed/ droped/ in very bad state. its just so i can learn to take it apart and learn what each part is iv tried all the schools and music shops with no luck .I live in the peterborough area east anglia uk and i would be happy to come and collect so please have alook in you loft or shed it really dosent matter how bad it is even an old clarinet would get me started.thankyou Tom.

Try Freecycle. It's an organisation of online groups where people exchange stuff for free. There are dozens of Freecycle groups around the country. I use my local group, and it's very useful. The link below is for the Peterborough Freecycle group. I'm sure someone there has an old instrument they don't need any more.
