Sit around eat and watch TV, bad bad habbit I know. So that's why you should not fight sleep and just do it. Substituting something other than sleep when you are tired is not really good. Your body is trying to tell you something. Now if i am at work and are sleepy, I usually go outside to get some fresh air or try and clean around the office to get my heart pumping. Or come to Yahoo Q&A.

Go into a fixed daze for a while, then close my eyes and lay my head on my desk and take a 5 minute 'power nap'. Then I need to get up and walk around for a minute or so, that seems to help me. If I am home, I lay on the sofa, turn the tv on and within 15 minutes, I am OUT!

Get my words muddled up, get cranky, forget things, go into a semi-conscious dream state. Ignore the phone, read.
