AnArdRi - I was referring to the racism that African-Americans show toward Caucasians. If I misspoke, I apologize, but that is how it was referred to in my Human Relations in America course when I was defending my dissertation last year.

Country girl - do you agree with that statement though? "African Americans are merely defending themselves from the tyrannical whites and their constant racism." I don't find that to be true. I find the idea of "tyrannical whites" to be a falacy. We, as a whole, have truly found ourselves in a predicament where the other side is coming against us as we came against them so long ago. By the way folks, the Jews were persecuted and killed from 1933-1945 (only 65-ish years ago) and they aren't looking for payment for their suffering nor are they hating the German's who killed them. A lot more Jews died in the Holocaust than blacks during slavery. It's time to MOVE ON!

I agree with you totally.....AND, I took an Ethnic and Race Relations course, and that is how it was referred to. ALTHOUGH, the class taught us that there is no such thing as reverse racism...that African Americans are merely defending themselves from the tyrannical whites and their constant racism.

maybe they meant peopel who have to always say and show they are white and who think and act like they are better. those white people stuck in the racism days. Some people use excuses for why they dont get things. i know when i got into a crash a whole line of white people stopped to tell what happened and i'm like hey i am okay is anyone going to ask that. you just want to be a witness to what i saw myself? my car got hit and the person left where were the nosey white people then? Its probably because its a characteristic some dont like and its mostly found in white people or noticable in whites. just examples not true feelings of why peopel might say whites sux.. and you below me suck a fat one. you are the reason why peopel say they hate whites. grow up and look around you. didnt they say white people will be extict soon? having all these mixed babies and stuff. Maybe because white people started saying some werent equal to them when they hurt the Indians first. Whites did start up racism why not feel a little. loljust kidding this is dumb and there are so many races around us.

I wonder what "reverse-racism" might be. I was under the impression that racism was the attribution of negative characteristics to a person or group of people based on race.

I don't worry, I just ignore the minority that do this, & after a while they slink back to their trees to suck their bananas..

i think that people are naturaly racist. segregation worked out great, and once we took it away look at what happened to this world. white and black dont really mix it seems, its unfortunate but it seems to be the truth.
