What kind of shoes and shirt do I wear with a short pleated mini skirt?

I'm pretty tall so I don't think I'd look great with heels. (5'8)

Its a pink plaid short mini and I'll have black tights on.

wear cute ballet flats with a nicer shirt (polo, button up) or flip flops with a fitted t-shirt. please no heels or you will look like a two-bit hooker

Well, it all depends on what kind of skirt. Denim? Plaid? Leather?

As far as what shoes to wear, that again depends solely on what type of skirt. Depending on the style, a simple pair of flip flops would look cute, but also a simple pair of white shoes would, too. Something along the lines of K-Swiss, etc. Not the bulky style, but the more fine lined style.

I personally think it would look far better to stick to the flat shoe/sandal though.

Well since the mini skirt is already short, and kinda' daring, I would stick to something a little more modest. Like a t-shirt, polo,maybe a little funky, like a tank top over a t-shirt. For shoes maybe some killer flats, or even low-top converse.

A crisp white fitted blouse. And if you are wearing black tights then wear a black shoes perhaps a mid 1.5 inch heel.

You can wear a tight button up shirt (show some cleavage) with either some baby doll shoes or sandel high heels

Just make sure that the skirt isn't that short, put it with a simple tee and a fitted jacket and flats. Don't wear heels it'll make it look cheap, especially if you're tall. I'm 6ft, so I know!

Almost any top will go but an open neck shirt type blouse will look good, flat pumps, no heels, nothing to do with height, just on look alone

you should just wear some tights without the skirt...black footless ones, with a white shirt...you'll look great! and its cheap too, just use your dads old shirt!
