wow. i teach young children so there are lots of funny things that i can't necessarily laugh at when they happen. if you know what i mean.

but the funniest thing i think comes from a co-worker. she taught esol students in kindergarten.

the student was so proud of herself because she had followed the directions on a color by number page. the little girl walked up the teacher and waved the paper in the air and said: "Look, I followed the erections!"

oh, out of the mouths of babes........

our teacher once entered the classroom as usual. looking at the full strength of attendance collapsed with a popped set of eyes.
there was the annual lecture class by the dean the next hour who came into the classroom 5 minutes early, into the previous classhour.

I'm not a teacher, but I was a student. A boy dared me to put super glue on "Mr. Nardiello's" chair. I had him call the teacher to "help" him...threw my pencil behind his desk, got up to get it, bent down to pick it up, n while bent I put the glue on his seat. He eventually sat again. After a min..we called him back to our group. As he got up..he stalled and then rose and looked behind him at his chair, then walked over. As he walked by..there were a few strings hanging from the rear of his corduroy (think that's how it's spelled) pants!!!! Hee Hee. You gotta at least smile on that one!

It sounds a bit disrespectful, but take it in the right spirit.
The class was asked to give an example of one of Jesus' miracle cures. A boy put up his hand and answered, 'The woman who was suffering from an over-flow of blood.' It was doubly amusing because the boy was absolutely serious.
