El Nido is heaven. The island is beautiful, the views underwater are spectacular. There is always something to do, island hopping, sunset sailing, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkelling; and yet you can find peace and quiet if you want to get away from the world. I stayed in Lagen Island some years ago and it was unforgettable. Dining is never boring, if you get tired from eating in the restaurant or the beachfront dining area, you can have dinner or lunch set up in one of the islands. The service is stellar, and the experience will be one for the books.
If you plan to stay for two weeks, be prepared to spend around P200K/ $4,000.

The Philippine Islands are breathtaking sites to behold, however many of the cities are not to pleasant, and especially for the last few years the Islamo Fascists have been on the attack there, so beware, thus vacation at your own risk...

You should really forget those kinds of places. All you get from there is... well something nasty from the food! If you want exotic: got to Hirvensalmi! Clear blue lakes and authentic Scandinavian atmosphere and the best beer in the world(not Carlsberg though). If you want to go somewhere where not ALL has been, choose Finland!
