I recently started an unpaid, part time internship and I've been trying to find a full or part time PAID job during the days I'm not interning (ya know, so I won't get evicted!). However, it's been weeks since I've been applying to places with uber flexible scheduling, and not one call has come through! Should I give up the internship and go back to working full-time or keep it and keep looking for that flexible-schedule job?

I'm not working. I quit my full time job to "pursue my dreams" so I have no income! I'm a 'tard, I know.... But there's a chance for a job offer at the internship in 3 months!

My internship is only twice a week, but none of these retail places are calling me back for some reason. It's getting very frustrating and I don't want public assistance, and don't qualify for unemployment insurance.... Argh!

Call a temp agency, like Adecco or something. I actually sign up for more then one temp agency (yeah, I know, it seems a little sneaky), but you need a job NOW. Yes, I've worked temp jobs for only one or two weeks, so it's possible. I had to pay for my teaching internship (work a full-time job and pay tuition too? Doesn't seem fair, I know), but one girl in my class waitressed on Friday night and Saturday, and was able to live that way. She'd make $100-200 a weekend. I have no short-term memory, personally, so that wouldn't work for me. But it can be done!! Be creative.

Sometimes when we are very passionate about our dreams we can get impatient and move out of timing. You have to have a plan, before you make a huge step like quitting your job to pursue a dream, or it won't work. If you can't pay your bills and might end up evicted that will not help any in continuing to pursue your dream. I would suggest that you get a full time job, and get a plan as to where you wanna take this dream and slowly work on it. It will happen for you. Being patient, while continually working on it, always works for the best in the end.

Do you have enough money to cover expenses? Do you like your job?

If you answered yes 2 times than stay with your current job.

Keep it up if you can afford it. Perhaps you can get a student loan to tide you over for a while.
